Authorize.Net is one of the most popular and innovative payment gateway providers for ecommerce. In 2007, CyberSource bought Authorize.Net. Visa also acquired CyberSource this season. Since its inception, the business has provided payment gateway solutions for more than 400,000 merchants.
Before we get into the details of each Authorize.Net service, let’s clear up a common misconception: Authorize.Net currently is not a merchant account provider. Today’s card readers can be compatible with EMV. It is a worthwhile investment, even though it can be quite expensive if you are trying to sell on the internet and through a retail website.
Its service is reliable and has many additional features that make it more than a gateway to accept credit cards online. It also backs up its service with exceptional customer service and care.
